This has been such a crazy weekend! We moved all day on Friday and got everything moved with a pickup truck and a minivan. It was just Stephen, my mom, and me moving everything. But, we were able to get it done, and it wasn't too hard.
Saturday I stayed home while Stephen went with my dad in a big truck to get the piano, washer, dryer, and another couch. Those were definitely the hardest things to move, so we had a couple friends help.
I absolutely love our new place! It's so awesome being on campus, and we have more space. It's a 2 bedroom, and the second bedroom is being used as the music room. Though we do have more space, we don't have more cabinet space, in fact, we have less cabinet space. So, we're going to buy a free standing pantry sometime in the next week.
As soon as we get everything in it's place and decorated, I'm going to take pictures, and do a virtual home tour of each room.
I cannot even explain how awesome it is to have our own washer and dryer! It's amazing to be able to stay at home to do our laundry and get other things done at the same time. Oh, and we also have free internet! Which is totally awesome.

yay for the washer and dryer! I am so thankful for ours as well. I am also thankful that we now have two toilets. It's the little things. :)
ReplyDeleteYes, being about to do laundry in your own home is very nice! Living on campus would be awesome too...since we got married I drove forty minutes one way every day to school--it wasn't my favorite, that's for sure! Now I'm done with school and I'm definitely most grateful that I don't have to do that drive anymore!

ReplyDeletecongrats on being done moving (well kind of, unpacking is another thing entirely) - we just did it a few months ago and while i love our new apartment, i am determined to stay here as long as possible just to avoid moving again in the near future :) can't wait to see how you decorate it!
